Byron Darrah has been building security technology and leading security programs for technology companies for 20 years. He is a security leader with a background in development, secure communication and Computer Science, including degrees from UCLA and California Polytechnic University. Before it was mainstream, he leveraged his background to create secure CI/CD automation for popular online companies of the time like NetZero.

Byron's broad experience working in multi-national and global organizations covers nearly every aspect of cyber security. He has led initiatives to achieve Level 1 PCI compliance, built and trained incident response teams, driven enterprise adoption of new security functions like Identity Governance, written enterprise security standards and much more.

Most recently Byron has been working for Keysight, the world's largest maker of electronics test and measurement equipment, as the head of a Security Engineering organization reporting to the CISO, on a major initiative to fortify the software security of the company's hundreds of digital products and demonstrate compliance with new regulations like NIST SP 800-218 (SSDF) and CRA.
